Tamil Surya Oudaya Sangam

Surya Oudaya Sangam, located at the west end of town, and the older Shiv Kalyan Vath Mandir, towards Pereybère, are both are dedicated to Shiva. Visitors are welcome but shoes should be removed before entering. One of the nicest landmarks in the whole of Grand Baie, the colourful spacious temple has fascinating decorations of the god Shiva.
