Description
La place de l'indépendance is the heart of the city of Dakar, it is surrounded by large buildings, banks housing , agencies and hotels. Not far around the Teranga a walk is needed on the corniche, beaches are located in the surrounding area.
Opinions are been shared, some like it, others hate it, but it is true that Dakar doesn’t leaves an imperishable memory and once visited on foot the Center of the city, which is the Cathedral, the IFAN Museum, near the Presidential Palace and the square of independence,it is best is to reach the port and take the boat to the island of Gorée.
